Program Highlights

Western Building Coalitions
Come hear an update on the efforts of the allied industries to preserve and expand market share for concrete in the low-, mid-, and high-rise market segments in BC, WA, OR, and CA.

FHWA Update
This presentation will provide a historic overview of events and legislation that shaped U.S. highway infrastructure, then touch on current and future challenges and opportunities.

Carbon Sequestration
No one doubts the importance of wood use in the built environment, but there is a much larger story to tell about the life time sequestration of carbon.  A recent GLOBE Advisors analysis helps to fill in the missing pieces of the story.

Seismic Connections in Accelerated Bridge Construction
Precast concrete member connections must be able to withstand significant stresses and deformations during earthquakes.  A Grouted Splice Sleeve connection is being considered for use in Accelerated Bridge Construction.

Mill Sponsored Event on Main Street
Historic Main Street is the gem among riches. It is the heart and soul of the mountain town and epicenter of all that is fun. Park City has a rich and storied past: it began as a raucous silver town, nearly faded into history as a ghost town and then re-invented itself as a ski town that grew into a world-class destination and host to global events such as the Winter Olympics and the Sundance Film Festival.

Transportation provided... please meet in the Hotel Lobby no later than 6:00 pm.
