Yoko Otani, Chapter Treasurer

Yoko Otani is currently a Partner at Straterix, Inc., a financial analytics software company. 

Previously, Yoko was a Managing Director at Promontory Financial Group, LLC. She advised clients on a range of risk management and compliance matters, including recovery and resolution planning, liquidity, balance sheet management, capital markets, and anti-money laundering. Yoko also worked with clients on risk culture programs and development of risk assessment methodologies. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry as a banker and corporate treasury specialist, Yoko integrated business-line expertise with risk and regulatory objectives.

Prior to joining Promontory, Yoko was a managing director and senior credit officer at Citigroup, where she managed global relationships with banks, specialty finance, asset management and public sector institutions. She advised clients on risk and corporate finance matters. Yoko began her career at Citigroup in the corporate finance group of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer where she was responsible for managing the firm’s liquidity and capital programs as well as developing and executing the firm’s asset-liability management programs.

Yoko holds a B.A. (cum laude) from Barnard College, Columbia University and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University.
