USPRA Online Training

  • USPRA is committed to providing its members relevant training and education opportunities.  Now more than ever before, psychiatric rehabilitation is gaining national recognition as practitioners are looking to psychiatric rehabilitation as the model of recovery.

Through independent trainings, and instructor-led trainings, USPRA will continue strengthening that recognition by focusing on advancing psychiatric rehabilitation in academic curricula.

Instructor-Led Courses

Live, instructor-led training is considered by all to be highly effective, as it best facilitates real-time interaction, in-depth information sharing and direct response to questions. Few educational opportunities are considered more valuable than meeting and interfacing directly with an instructor, staff support, and other students. USPRA is pleased to offer the following instructor-led courses:

PART 1: "Developing Resiliency and Valued Roles for Children"

PART 2: "Teaching Children Critical Skills: Tools and Techniques for Providers"
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Part 1, "Developing Resiliency and Valued Roles for Children"

  • OCTOBER 2013

PART 3: "Working with Parents and Caregivers"
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Part 1, "Developing Resiliency and Valued Roles for Children"

  • NOVEMBER 2013

NOTE: The instructor-led online courses in the Children's Series do not apply to the training hours required for CPRP exam application or CPRP recertification.
