This interactive workshop will allow attendees to learn about the legal mandates of the Clery Act (including VAWA) and the compliance requirements that directly apply to their Title IX compliant institutional sexual misconduct policy. Topics covered include: overview of legal mandates of the Clery Act, the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act of 2013, and Title IX with a focus on the policy considerations for institutional sexual misconduct policies. Session participants will be guided through a review of their sexual misconduct policy in light of all of these legal mandates. Attendees should bring their institutional Sexual Harassment/Sexual Misconduct Policy(s) for purposes of identifying areas that, based on the workshop, are determined to need further review upon return to campus.

NACCOP 2018 Conference Registration Refunds Policy
Any registration cancelation postmarked or emailed 30 days prior to the first day of the conference/event will be refunded, minus a $75 processing fee.
Any registration cancellations postmarked (or emailed) less than 30 days prior to the first day of the event can be applied to the registration fees of a participant from the same institution at no additional cost. All substitutions must be made in writing and, for conference substitutions, accompanied by a completed Conference Registration. Alternately, an attendee can be given a credit to be applied to attend the 2019 annual conference.
No refunds will be given for issues or circumstances beyond our control such as manmade or natural disasters, weather, campus conditions, hosting facilities, parking, prepaid items, etc.
Late requests for refunds due to a family emergency will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The final decision on refunds rests with the Director of NACCOP.
