IoT has the potential to transform our daily lives, while at the same time transforming cities around the globe. Whether it is street lights with embedded sensors that can measure pollution, traffic flow, or even the movement of people, cities such as Barcelona, Hong King, London, and many more are embracing IoT. But such technology doesn’t come for free, and some fear that we are opening a modern Pandora’s box.
