Nov 04, 2014 8:00 am - Nov 05, 2014 9:00 pm Session Type: Special Training Track: Special Training | Description This 22-hour intensive, experiential workshop prepares music therapists to provide Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth Services in hospital, birthing center, and home-birthing settings. An in-depth study of music for labor and birth, as well as positions, relaxation techniques, and other comfort measures paired with music are presented. Open to upper level students and music therapy interns with instructor’s consent.
