This 10-hour intensive, experiential workshop prepares music therapists to provide Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth Services in hospital, birthing center, and home-birthing settings. An in-depth study of music for labor and birth, as well as positions, relaxation techniques, and other comfort measures paired with music are presented. Both sections of this course must be completed to receive CMTE certificate for 26 hours. 10 CMTE credits available.
