B8 - Navigating the System: Outcomes for Kinship Families in San Diego County

In this session, presenters will provide an overview of the research summary of the YMCA Kinship Navigator Federal Demonstration Project including evidence-based outcomes achieved. Presenters will also provide an overview of the systems level change achieved through the formation of the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Workgroup and Handbook for Grandparents and Other Relatives Raising Children, a tool being widely distributed to kinship caregivers throughout San Diego County.
