This course will provide an introduction to basic group counseling skills like active listening, responding, and non-verbal communication. Skills will be introduced and modeled, and opportunities for practice will be included. Participants will also discuss ways in which these skills can be used to enhance effectiveness during music therapy sessions. 5 CMTE credits available.
