Description

The 4G networks of today are successfully meeting the dramatic growth of data driven by smartphone adoption and utilization. The 5G networks of tomorrow will need to meet accelerated growth and the emerging demands of a fully connected society. This session will explore how the 5G networks of the future will differ from the architectures and technologies of today. This will include the roles of cellular, WiFi, LTE-U, LoRa, NFV/SDN and even faster wireless and mobile networks to meet the challenge of future needs of consumers and enterprise customers. How will these networks interconnect? What key technologies will facilitate the evolution? Are there key milestones to be achieved over the next 3, 5 or 10 years?
