Meet the Instructor:

Kamron Blue is a native of Virginia Beach, VA. Kamron graduated from Bayside High School, and further matriculated in his studies at Norfolk State University. He earned his Master of Social Work Degree from Saint Leo University. Kamron is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Professionally, Kamron devotes his time and skills to serving the most vulnerable children and families in Hampton Roads. His previous professional experience includes community-based mental health services and Child Protective Services. Kamron currently works as a Medical Social Worker at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD) where he is the Program Coordinator of the Safer Futures Hospital Violence Intervention Program. This grant-funded initiative provides clinical and case management support to patients who are victims of community violence. Kamron serves on the health
system’s staff-led Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee. He has also developed and facilitated multiple trainings for health system staff to include Mental Health Skills Foundation Training and Mandated Reporting for Child Abuse & Neglect. Kamron is motivated by making a difference in the lives of his patients and their families.
