Meet Dr. Allison Jackson-Dyer

Trauma Therapy Certificate: The Resilience Effect

Dr. Allison Jackson-Dyer is CEO of Integration Solutions, Inc., providing consultation services, educational programs, and technical assistance to human service organizations and integrated healthcare systems. Specializing in trauma-informed care and training people that resilience is possible when proper information and support is given, her company helps institutions further their practices as they guide people toward healing and recovery.

Dr. Jackson-Dyer supplies trauma- and resilience-informed practices to professionals who serve at-promise youth, families, and adults in their communities. She also offers educational opportunities to community members, direct-care professionals, and organizational leaders. In addition, her work includes outpatient therapeutic services for people and families in the military and crisis therapy services to youth and adults diagnosed with mental health problems.

 

Raised in Richmond, Va., Dr. Jackson-Dyer has provided leadership development services via behavioral health, education, child welfare, and criminal justice systems for more than 20 years. Her clinical practice and research focus on advancing effective trauma-informed treatment practices for persons who experience behavioral problems.

 

For 13 years, Dr. Jackson-Dyer worked for Providence Service Corporation, an international health care organization. Among her positions there were national vice president of clinical business development and healthcare reform, regional vice president of Clinical Operations for the East Division, and national trauma-informed service line leader. She also was a mentor to children and families and provided in-home and outpatient therapy, clinical supervision, regional coordination, and directorship of continuing education and evidence-based replication.

 

Dr. Jackson-Dyer also is a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator (CDTLF) who facilitates leadership workshops and seminars using the Dare to Lead curriculum based on the work of bestselling author and world-renowned Research Professor Dr. Brené Brown, who has an endowed chair at The Graduate College of Social Work, University of Houston. Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based, courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.
