On April 7, news sources began reporting on a newly discovered software flaw, named HeartBleed, which can allow passwords and other sensitive data to be intercepted or exposed. This bug manifests itself in a piece of software called OpenSSL which is commonly used to encrypt Web communications.
We have verified that netFORUM, which hosts the AACOM online store, does not use the software in question and is not vulnerable to the HeartBleed bug.
Visit cNet for further information about this bug.
