Thank you to Oakland University for hosting the 2014 conference.
The 2014 conference was held on Friday, February 28, 2014 on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan (in southeastern Michigan between Flint and Detroit).  This multi-disciplinary conference included presentations in over 30 disciplines in the sciences, humanities, and social sciences.  Additional sections (disciplines) planning programs range from Administration to Zoology.  To be added to the Call for Papers mailing list, please click "Join our Call for Papers Mailing List".

The Michigan Academy’s annual conference draws presenters from several states and Canada, as well as, scholars from across the state of Michigan.  The conference is affordable ($60 early registration fee plus the cost of individual membership for non-student presenters).  Abstracts of all papers presented at the annual conference are published in the Academy’s academic journal the Michigan Academician.

The Michigan Academy is a nonprofit organization founded in 1894 to “promote research and diffuse knowledge”.  Thirty-nine colleges and universities support the Academy’s mission through institutional membership dues.  Additional support comes from individual membership dues, donations, and subscriptions to the Academy’s, peer-reviewed journal.
