AHIMA defines information governance (IG) as "an organization-wide framework for managing information throughout its lifecycle and for supporting the organization's strategy, operations, regulatory, legal, risk and environmental requirements." AHIMA’s five (5) level Information Governance Adoption Model (IGAM) and IGHealthRate tool has assisted health care organizational efforts to improve performance by supporting IG programs from startups to existing IG programs.
Although AHIMA has discontinued their IGHealthRate tool, this webinar will focus on best practices from two organizations on different IG journeys; one just starting their IG journey, and one with a mature IG program. The presenters will provide insights into the following:
