Any public or private Parks & Recreation department or organization in Florida. This includes Recreation & Parks departments, universities and colleges, Recreation & Park boards, city and county commissioners, hospital boards, state and district agencies, and association boards. This membership includes three categories, Bronze, Silver, and Gold, the benefits of which are explained below.
Beginning February 1, 2022, FRPA is transitioning to a calendar year dues cycle. The amount reflected for the membership price is prorated, and the "Membership Term" displayed here, reflect the number of months remaining in 2023.
Contributions made to the Florida Recreation & Park Association, Inc. are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal Income Tax Purposes. However, dues payments may be deductible by members as an ordinary business expense. The tax deductibility of dues paid to FRPA as an ordinary and necessary business expense is subject to restrictions imposed as a result of lobbying activities. FRPA estimates that the nondeductible portion of your 2023 dues is 10%.
