This MCEC membership MEETS THE REQUIREMENT outlined by the Council for Professional Recognition as one of the criteria to qualify for a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. 

 The Military Child Education (MCEC) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit, world-wide organization. Each Membership supports innovative initiatives such as professional development trainings/institutes for education and military professionals, workshops to assist parents, trainings to enable students to support each other, assistance for parents of children who learn differently, ongoing research that make transitions go more smoothly for children and parents, and publications focused on military families' needs.
