Presenter: Jean S. Peterson, Professor, Purdue University, West
Gifted kids can be targets or perpetrators of bullying, or
both, with implications for present and future well-being. The presenter will
summarize findings from her own national study of bullying among gifted kids
and from recent studies as well, all of which attempt to make sense of the
phenomenon. This session will highlight roles of invested adults in preventing
and responding to bullying.
