EAAT professionals are well-versed in the importance of effective communication with equines. But how often do we focus on the effectiveness of our communication with each other? Learn interpersonal strategies to improve the quality of EAAT programs in order to promote positive participant outcomes, reduce conflict, increase volunteer retention, and improve staff efficiency, morale and resilience.
DANIELLE CRANDALL holds an MS degree in counseling and is a licensed professional counselor intern. She is a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. She has presented at numerous professional conferences and authored books on EAAT.
HALLIE SHEADE holds a PhD degree in counseling and is a licensed professional counselor, and works in an inpatient psychiatric facility to evaluate and stabilize clients in crisis. She is a PATH Int. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. She is the president and clinical director of a full-time EFP practice.
This educational video may be used by PATH Intl. Credentialed Professionals as one hour of core requirement education (CR) for all certifications toward their annual instructor compliance report.
