One of the most controversial issues in medical billing circles is the practice of “balance billing.” While there is no federal prohibition against this practice, a number of states have passed legislation seeking to reign in this practice. During this webinar, we will discuss the current legal and regulatory environment associated with balance billing. We will also discuss the risks an out of network provider may face when engaging in this practice.
