Open to music therapists and other professionals interested in music therapy. Membership provides the privilege of participation in the activities of the Association, both on national and regional levels, including but not limited to the right to vote, to hold office, to receive the Journal of Music Therapy, Music Therapy Perspectives, and other selected publications of the Association.

Please note: The membership year is 12 months and runs from January 1 through December 31. (Prorated membership is not available for those joining later in the year as the entire year's member benefits are made available even when you join later in the year. Hard copy journals sent before one joins will be fulfilled when the next journal issue is published.)   After Oct. 31, online membership purchases will be defaulted to the following calendar year. Please note the dates indicated and call the national office before purchase if you wish to pay for a different membership year than indicated.

Installment Plans:

For your convenience, Professional dues may be paid in 4 or 6 installments for a limited time during the first months of the membership year. See here for details.
