About the Editor-in-Chief
Charles M. Mueller, PhD , RDN, CDN, CNSC is a Clinical Associate Professor of Clinical Nutrition at New York University where he is also the director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics. He serves on the Editorial Board, Nutrition in Clinical Practice since 1999. In 2002, ASPEN awarded him the Distinguished Nutrition Support Dietitian Service Award. Dr. Mueller's research includes the outcomes of enteral nutrition in elderly long-term care residents and the effects of weight loss interventions on cardiovascular disease risk factors. Dr. Mueller is a past president of the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification (2005-2009). He earned a BA from Colgate University and a MS and PhD in clinical nutrition from New York University.
