Why ASPEN’s Publications Review Committee recommends this book:
Much of the book’s well researched content is very applicable to NICU practice, especially the Perinatal Mineral, Electrolyte and Acid-Base Homeostasis section as well as several chapters in the Abnormalities of Fluid and Electrolyte Homeostasis section. Chapters include simple but informative graphics (charts, graphs, diagrams) that help describe current physiology concepts. Material is well organized and includes practice-based recommendations.
