Deborah is a HIM professional with more than 30 years of experience and a track record of success in a variety of health care settings, including large academic teaching hospital, for-profit and non-profit community hospitals, and a prominent vendor for hospital information systems. Throughout her career, Deborah has been actively involved with health information professional organizations, and an advocate to empower and help others succeed in HIM.

 

Kim Fillmore-Lutz, RHIT

President and Owner, Fillmore & Co., Inc.

 

Kim has 40 years of experience in post-acute care and skilled nursing, and 38 years of experience as an HIM Consultant. Her consulting history covers many LTC facilities and companies. She is currently the Corporate Consultant for both Covenant Care Inc. and Invigorate Health Care. Kim has also served two terms as President of SVHIA, and has volunteered on the CHIA Legislation & Advocacy Committee and CHIA Continuum of Care Committee.

 

Keith Hass, RHIA

Keith is currently at Illumina as a Customer Data Steward and just before that contracted as a Business Analyst for Kaiser Permanente. He enjoys investigating information and knowing that data in HIM is the foundation and future for validating health information and protecting such information for the longitudinal life of health information.

Victoria has over 25 years of experience in the health care field. She is specialized in providing initial and on-going coding, audit and CDI education, specialty-specific training, department presentations and one-on-one feedback to coding, CDI staff, physicians, local, regional and national leadership. Victoria is passionate about staying involved and working collaboratively in promoting high standards and integrity of HIM coding practice. She believes that quality data with integrity will promote and help achieve the best health care for all patients.

Esther is an experienced HIM professional with over 20 years in the health care business and revenue cycle processes, with advanced knowledge of information governance and technology applications. She was involved in the EHR build across 19 acute hospitals and multiple clinics, and her unique expertise enabled her to hold various corporate, regional and facility roles to advance usage of EHRs. Esther is actively pursuing a doctorate degree in Health Law.
