The Energy Bar Association's Southern Chapter and the Public Utility Research Center at the University of Florida present a three-panel webinar series taking place each Monday for three weeks starting Monday, June 29, 2020. Each Monday will feature a different panel to discuss the lesson and challenges of the post-pandemic energy sector.
On this panel, you will hear from leaders in the financial field and from a utility Chief Financial Officer about the impacts that have already occurred from the pandemic and those that are expected on the horizon. Also, there is some discussion about the effects on municipal utilities versus those on investor owned utilities. Chairman Gary Clark of the Florida Public Service Commission chaired this panel. Dan Aschenbach of AGVP Advisory, Bill Graf of Deloitte Touch and Beth Cooper of Chesapeake Utilities Corp. offer their special insights.
Webinar 1: How have the pandemic and government responses to it affected utility financials? How are companies managing liquidity, investment and maintenance? What is Wall Street’s perspective?
