Tics, sterotypies and rituals are common phenomena in individuals with Developmental Disabilities(DD). Identifying those who have Tourette's Sydrome(TS) is clinically rewarding and therapeutically important. Robin Friedlander will review our current understanding of TS, by presenting information from the new international CATS database of nearly 3,000 individuals with TS(from 44 sites in 17 countries). Rox Wand will describe diagnostic signs and symptoms of TS and comorbid associated conditions. Treatment will be treated via relevant clinical vignettes.
