Rita was an advocate from the Central Region of Pennsylvania. Her passion was for advocacy. She constantly celebrated the beauty of diversity in her life. She was responsible for creating the curriculum for the Keystone Pride Recovery Initiative that Pennsylvania uses for the education of staff to allow a better understanding of the gender issues that many live with every day.
