Crisis in the Barn EAAT Participants and Suicide - 2018 Conference Recording

2018 PATH Intl. Annual Conference

Mental Health Track

The demand for EAAT services is rising by participants with mental health concerns including youth at-risk and military veterans. With an increasing rate of suicide in the U.S. population (and a higher risk in veterans and youth), it is important for EAAT professionals to feel confident and prepared to respond to those in crisis in a safe and supportive manner.

HALLIE SHEADE holds a PhD degree in counseling and is a licensed professional counselor, and works in an inpatient psychiatric facility to evaluate and stabilize clients in crisis. She is a PATH Int. Certified TRI and ESMHL. She is the president and clinical director of a full-time EFP practice.

PAUL ZIEHE is a military veteran and PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor specializing in working with other veterans.
