To Clip or Not to Clip: From Lead Line to Independence - 2018 Conference Recording
2018 PATH Intl. Annual Conference
At some point, we’ve all been addicted to the lead line, afraid to unclip, afraid to let loose the 1,000-pound equine with our favorite student on board. However, the time has come! This session will encourage us to get over fear, and give us the best strategies to achieve independence for riders. It will help us to know when we need to clip or not to clip, along with the techniques we can use to attain the ultimate goal of eliminating the lead line.
As a graduate of St. Andrews University’s prestigious therapeutic horsemanship program, as well as having more than 25 years in the saddle, KRISTEN MORELAND has a plethora of experience to share. She is the lead instructor at Beyond Limits Therapeutic Riding in Emerson, GA, and has a reputation for pushing her riders—and instructors—to levels they’ve only dreamed of. She has taught and consistently challenges the instructors to break out of their normal routines and remember why they started teaching in the first place!
