In addition, the presenters will also review PATH Intl. precautions relating to cerebral palsy and common medical equipment used by riders with CP.
Wendy Miklaszewski, OTR has been an occupational therapist for 18 years working in a variety of settings, from hospitals, nursing homes, home health and hippotherapy. She has presented regional and nationally on various therapy related topics. She is the president of MPF builders, a home modification specialist. She is also co-founder of Focus on Living, specializing in education and treatment of low vision. Most recently, Wendy’s article on vision was published in the Strides magazine.
Stephanie Kubarth, OTR, is the executive director of Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program. She is also a PATH mentor and registered instructor . She has presented numerous times at PATH conferences. Stephanie is co-founder of Focus on Living, specializing in education and treatment of low vision. Stephanie has had article published three times in Strides Magazine.
