Social Services in Libraries: Catalyzing a Course Education-Awareness-Navigating Change
2019-12-12

Spend an afternoon with community agency directors, social work professors, a Veterans Administration LCSW caseworker, library staff, and a yoga studio owner to explore the relationship between social work and librarianship. We will discuss the placement of social work interns in libraries, current practice, and the requirements needed in order to successfully serve our communities. Participants and panelists will also share social work programming possibilities for library environments.
