Many libraries are creating Facebook pages, Twitter feeds, YouTube channels, and Pinterest boards to market their resources and services, along with creating a fun and interactive web presence for library users! These social media sites can be used to blur the lines of work and play by both educating and entertaining followers. In this session, Cheryl Kohen, Emerging Technology Librarian, will discuss ideas and best practices for creating profiles, posting material, attracting followers, cross-promoting services, and connecting to other learning communities.
