Occlusion done well enhances our implant and prosthetic longevity.  Done poorly, occlusion can be the downfall of all our hard work.  This lecture will review the occlusion and the masticatory system with special focus on occlusal concepts for implant supported prostheses.  This lecture will include: a TMJ anatomy review; CR/CO/MIP and how to find them; occlusal diagnosis; occlusal schemes for different implant prostheses; and a quick review of some Occlusal splints and NG the presenter uses.
