The goal of implant prosthodontics is to provide esthetic and functional replacements for missing teeth on a long-term basis. An optimal implant prosthetic restoration requires the practitioner to be highly responsive to the functional and esthetic needs of the patient. Innovative techniques now allow for better esthetics and greater patient comfort. This presentation will address current concepts, research and advances in implant restorations and how they can enhance clinical outcomes.
