Inclusion Drives Innovation: Disability Employment Webinars

In recognition of October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), the Center for Energy Workforce Development is once again partnering with the Department of Labor Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) to provide a two-part webinar series. The sessions, aligned with the Department of Labor's annual NDEAM theme, Inclusion Drives Innovation, will highlight strategies to diversify your workforce to include individuals with disabilities.

Session 1: October 3, 2017 1:00-2:15pm ET

This session will review talent acquisition and retention processes to improve disability inclusion. Specifically, policies and processes across the employment lifecycle will be identified that facilitate or impede the hiring, retention and advancement of individuals with disabilities. Topics to be covered include Self-Identification Campaigns, Career Development and Advancement Strategies and Retention and Promotion Programs.  Time will be provided for Q&A and resources will be provided.
