How to Implement a WISE Pathways Program

A Webinar Presented by the
Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD)
WISE
(Women in Sustainable Employment) Pathways was developed in partnership with Hard
Hatted Women (HHW) in Cleveland, OH and supported by Union County College in
New Jersey. This forty-hour career exploration and workplace skills
development program includes:

An
introduction to the energy, manufacturing and construction sectors
·
Hands-on
educational experiences focused on getting ready for a career in energy,
manufacturing or construction, such as resume writing and mock interviews
·
Administration
of the WorkKeys assessments enabling the women to earn their National Career
Readiness Certificates
In early
2014, CEWD piloted WISE Pathways in the Metropolitan Washington, DC
area. Member companies included
Washington Gas and Pepco.
Find out
how the pilot went, lessons learned, and hear from some of the women are
employed as a result of the program. This webinar will be focused on helping
members and their partners get started on their own WISE initiatives. Feel
