If you are an electrical contractor, installer, or electrical engineer in the state of Washington, this presentation will arm you with the tools and knowledge to do your job better and more efficiently. There is a great opportunity to expand this program and make electrical permit fee dollars stretch as far as possible while still providing the assurance that electrical systems are essentially free from hazard and the practical safeguarding of persons and property, which are the primary reasons for the national electrical code.
Presented by Dennis Straley, (Department of Labor and Industries, Electrical Technical Specialist) Dennis been in the electrical trade for over 40 years, and with L&I for 15 of those years. He has worked as an electrical inspector and supervisor and is currently responsible for training our new electrical inspectors.
Tony Bierward (Department of Labor and Industries, WA State Virtual Electrical Inspection Program) Tony Bierward, an active member of the electrical construction industry since 1979, is a certified Master Electrician who has worked for the WA State of Labor and Industries for over 30 years. Tony has worked as an Inspector, LEAD Inspector, ECORE LEAD, Plans Examiner, Plans Examiner Supervisor, and is currently the Virtual Electrical Inspection Supervisor. Tony has helped develop and guide the new Virtual Electrical Inspection program from the beginning of the project phase to final implementation.
Registration Details Check-in and a lunch buffet at 11:30 AM. The presentation will run from noon - 1:00 PM. Advance registration and payment is required, and is being accepted now. Please assist our planning by registering early. League Members: $40; Non-League Members: $50. A late fee applies for registrations received after Tuesday, December 10.
