Event Description

Register for the AM Session or the PM Session or both!

AM Session: If you are thinking of renovating or replacing your district's playground, you won't want to miss the first portion of the AM session. You will hear from Civil Engineers, and equipment installers on what to consider before you take on a playground project. Then hear from a playground inspector on the tools and procedures needed for inspecting your playground.

The second part of the AM session will be dedicated to construction design and maintenance considerations on your athletic fields. Much of what you learn can be applied to the general grounds as well.

PM Session:  A panel of industry experts share sustainable practices, current tools and financial resources available to fund these necessary improvements in your schools. Useful information and ideas to help planning for summer 2015 projects.

Registration & Refreshments: 8:00am - 8:30am
Program: 8:30am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Lunch: 12:00pm - 1:00pm (Only All Day registrants are entitled)

PD Credits: 3.5 hrs. (1/2 day) or 6.5 hrs. (full day)
Designation Points: 3 pts (1/2 day) or 6 pts (full)

Due to changes in the Illinois State Board of Education professional development requirements, please be advised that you will be required to sign in and sign out of all professional development opportunities, in which credits are offered. Each attendee will also be required to fill out an evaluation summary in order to receive credit.
