Lauralyn Pestritto, Governor

Lauralyn Pestritto is a Managing Director at AQR Capital Management, LLC, where she has been responsible for counterparty credit risk management matters on behalf of the funds since joining in 2007.  In this role, Lauralyn monitors the creditworthiness of counterparties to AQR’s trading entities and serves as a liaison to those counterparties extending credit to AQR funds and managed accounts.  Prior to AQR, Lauralyn worked in a similar role at Amaranth Group Inc. where she was a Vice President in the Credit Risk Management Department. She has also worked at UBS as an Assistant Vice President in Credit Risk Control covering hedge funds, AIG Trading Group as an Assistant Vice President in Credit Risk Management and Salomon Smith Barney in Emerging Markets Loans. Lauralyn started her career as a paralegal at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and Politics from Gettysburg College and a Master of Business Administration from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
