What really works in negotiation.
What is REAL Negotiation?
Your ability to negotiate will do more to determine the outcomes in your life than almost anything else. And yet few people have ever been trained in how negotiation really works.
REAL Negotiation isn’t a lecture, it’s a set of skills. It was developed by a team of two attorneys, a therapist and a professional course developer. REAL Negotiation covers the vital tactics and strategies that every professional negotiator has, and then it goes further into the human and emotional element of negotiation. You’ll learn about how emotion works in communication, the difference between what people say and what they mean, and how to work with personalities. REAL Negotiation teaches all of this in a ‘workshop’ setting so you can actually practice the skills as well.
The Alumni Center
Graduates of REAL Negotiation also receive access to a video and audio catalog that covers all of the points in the workshop for practice and review. It’s all included in the tuition.
- The role of time & authority in a negotiation
- How to work with different personalities
- Strategies for deadlock and disagreement
- Negotiating with organizations
- The truth about changing people’s minds
