Family Connections (D1)

• Hear powerful personal stories of UMA members who have had non-clinical experience as adoptive and foster parents.
• Describe the conflicts and ongoing challenges of providing stability and serving as non-birth parents for children and adolescents who have experienced early trauma.
• Engage in honest dialogue about resources and supports needed to protect today’s vulnerable children, youth and families.
