A1 - Multi-StatePermanency Outcomes for Older Youth: One Year after Permanency Roundtables
Permanency roundtables, sponsored by Casey Family Programs,have occurred in more than 30 states since 2009. The Multi-Site AcceleratedPermanency Project (MSAPP) evaluated youth outcomes for 726 youth in fourstates 12 months after their cases went to roundtable. MSAPP focused on olderyouth in care (median age=17), many of whom had APPLA as their case goal.Results describe the impact of youth characteristics, caseworker attitudestowards permanency, caseworker perceptions of their organizational climate andculture, and fidelity to the roundtable model on permanency outcomes amongyouth in care. Workshop participants will participate in a discussion aboutimplications for practice.
