Program Description & Learning Objective
This course will discuss the need for Estate Planning and the importance of having your personal affairs in order. As our population continues to age, more people are outliving their assets which creates a financial burden on family and friends. With the increase in dementia and Alzheimer's, families are forced to deal with care givers, hospice, long-term care, and questions regarding a will, trust, guardianship and power of attorney. Because many decisions are forced upon us or our loved ones due to a major life change such as moving, downsizing, disability or death, planning ahead helps to prevent family conflict and emotional turmoil, and ensures your legacy is preserved.
