Medicaid Eligibility - Planning and Qualifying for Long-Term Care

To be eligible for Medicaid, an individual must meet eligibility requirements which are based on federal and state law. Of the general qualifications, financial eligibility is the most confounding.  The program will focus on income and asset issues (including divestment of resources) in seeking to qualify for long-term care.
