Many people believe that their employer provides the necessary insurance coverage while they are on the job. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Providing an in depth risk management examination of the what a Professional Liability policy should cover, this seminar will help uncover any potential gaps in existing coverage and provide a deeper understanding of their own liability.

About the Presenters

 

Ryan Anderson

Executive Risk: Vice President

Ryan currently serves as Regional Practice Leader for the Executive Risk lines of coverage.  His focus includes but is not limited to Director's and Officer's Liability, Professional Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Fidelity Bonds. Ryan worked at The St Paul Companies, which eventually merged with The Travelers Companies. He continued on at Travelers serving as an Account Executive Officer in the Bond and Financial Products Division. During his years at Travelers, Ryan specialized in the Financial Institution market with particular emphasis serving the Insurance Companies and Investment Adviser needs within their respective market segment.  

 

 

Samuel McFee

Specialty Programs Underwriting

Sam has been in various roles since his career began, building his insurance knowledge. Sam started as an Account Representative and Underwriter with well-established companies in the Twin Cities. There he specialized in Commercial Auto Insurance. He then moved into an Underwriting role where he was the Lead Underwriter for a specified Minnesota territory. Sam evaluated risks, determined pricing and acceptability and provided customer service to agents with questions or concerns. Sam's contribution at Hays has been providing technical product knowledge and utilizing underwriting authority for all programs. Specifically, overseeing programs where Hays was granted underwriting authority from our many partner carriers. Sam has helped grow these accounts by providing excellent customer service and quick turnaround for our clients.

 

 

AAA-CPA continuing education programs are designed to meet the needs of Attorneys and CPAs and to qualify for credit both as CPE and CLE. Of course, the decisions of various state authorities determine the actual credit granted. There are no prerequisites or advance preparation requirements for this course. 

 

 

The American Academy of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants, Inc. (AAA-CPA) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. *(M)CLE varies by state. Though we are accredited for (M)CLE in PA they will not accept Study Groups for credit. If you require (M)CLE in a specific state, please send a request to studygroups@attorney-cpa.com and we will do our best to arrange for credit.
