She completed 12 years of service within the Department of Veterans Affairs before transitioning to the Medical Affairs team at Indivior.
Description: Overdoses are a leading cause of death in Americans under 50. This webinar explores the neurobiology of opioid use disorder (OUD), explains the stigma of OUD and the treatment landscape for this chronic treatable disease.
This webinar will define addiction, the risk factors, stages of the addiction cycle and neuroadaptations. We will review statistics in terms of overdose deaths, rises in the opioid overdoses, and health – related quality of life and chronic diseases.
