Event Description

The different types of HVAC equipment used in schools, the most common types of temperature control options and basic equipment service information. How electricity works in school and industrial settings, while providing basic key concepts and a clear understanding of electricity. Methods needed to measure electrical consumption for energy conservation and how to maintain a reliable and effective preventative maintenance program. Plumbing, waste and portable water systems, with emphases on codes and safe use.

This seminar satisfies a REQUIREMENT for the Facilities Management Designation Program and an ELECTIVE for the Support Staff Designation Program.

Registration & Refreshments: 7:30am - 8:00am
Program: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Lunch: 11:30am - 12:00pm
