Launching a Successful 1:1 or BYOD Initiative - (12/02/2015)

Event Description

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and 1:1 technology programs are becoming ever more prevalent. The morning session features legal considerations including issues with parent, student, and school responsibility for use and policy considerations. The afternoon session features expert advice from two technology directors and a technology consultant. How to successfully launch a roll-out, financing the initiative, and how to avoid pitfalls will be among the featured topics. Time will be allotted in each session for questions.

Due to changes in the Illinois State Board of Education professional development requirements, please be advised that you will be required to sign or scan in to all professional development opportunities in which credits are offered. Each attendee will also be required to fill out an evaluation summary in order to receive credits.
