Event Description

This seminar will provide information on the different types of HVAC equipment used in schools, the most common types of temperature control options and basic equipment service information. We will discuss how electricity works in school and industrial settings, while providing basic key concepts and a clear understanding of electricity.  Learn about methods needed to measure electrical consumption for energy conservation and how to maintain a reliable and effective preventative maintenance program, along with plumbing, waste and potable water systems, with emphases on codes and safe use.

Registration & Refreshments: 7:30am - 8:00am
Program: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Lunch:  12:00pm - 1:00pm

PD Credit: 7 hrs.
Designation Points: 6

Due to changes in the Illinois State Board of Education professional development requirements, please be advised that you will be required to sign in and sign out of all professional development opportunities, in which credits are offered. Each attendee will also be required to fill out an evaluation summary in order to receive credit.
