Intended Participants: Participants must receive approval from the faculty to attend. Participants must be experienced and licensed mental health professionals (psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, mental health counselors) who are personally treating and have had previous training in Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, and Dissociative Identity Disorder or Dissociative Disorder, unspecified, and who have personally treated a significant number of such clients. In addition, the participants must have taken the ISSTD Advanced Course in the Psychotherapy of Complex Trauma and Dissociation or its equivalent (to be assessed by the facilitator).
Course Dates/Location:
Wednesdays: October 4, November 1, December 6, 2017, January 3, February 7, March 7, April 4, and May 2, 2018. (Time: 7:00pm - 9:30pm)
Sessions will be held in McLean, VA. Exact location information will be provided by the course instructor. All participants must participate in this course in person.
Course Format: Eight 2.5 hour sessions of combined literature discussion/lecture and discussion of cases presented by students
